Bikaner, Chittorgarh and Jaipur Tour Itinerary

Day 1
Pickup: Jaipur Airport / Railway Station
Sightseeing:
Birla Mandir: Built in white marble, dedicated to Lord Vishnu & Goddess Lakshmi, a modern temple with Rajasthani-style carvings.
Albert Hall Museum: Rajasthan’s oldest museum (opened in 1887), Indo-Saracenic architecture, houses rare paintings, carpets, ivory, and metal art.
Evening: Stroll through Bapu Bazaar and Johari Bazaar for handicrafts and jewelry.
Overnight: Jaipur
Day 2
Amber Fort (UNESCO Site): Built in 1592 by Raja Man Singh I; known for Sheesh Mahal (Mirror Palace), Diwan-i-Khas, Diwan-i-Aam, and the Ganesh Pol gate.
Jaigarh Fort: Home to Jaivana Cannon, panoramic views, underground passages to Amber.
Jal Mahal: Water palace in Man Sagar Lake, photo stop.
City Palace: Royal residence of the Maharaja, now partly museum; houses Mubarak Mahal, Chandra Mahal, and royal artifacts.
Jantar Mantar: 18th-century astronomical observatory; features the world’s largest stone sundial.
Hawa Mahal: "Palace of Winds" (1799), built for royal women to observe street life unseen.

Day 3
Junagarh Fort: Built in 1594 by Raja Rai Singh; never conquered; houses palaces like Phool Mahal, Anup Mahal, and Chandra Mahal.
Lalgarh Palace: Indo-Saracenic architecture built by Maharaja Ganga Singh.
Optional: Camel Breeding Farm (open till 5 PM).

Drive to Jaisalmer
Gadisar Lake: 14th-century rainwater lake with temples and ghats; once the city’s water supply.
Bada Bagh (if time permits): Royal cenotaphs of Jaisalmer rulers.
Evening: Sunset view from the Fort or rooftop restaurant.

Day 5
Jaisalmer Fort (Sonar Quila): Built in 1156 by Rawal Jaisal, made of yellow sandstone; still inhabited.
Patwon Ki Haveli: First haveli built in Jaisalmer; a cluster of 5 havelis with fine mirror work and frescoes.
Salim Singh & Nathmal Ki Haveli: Distinct for unique architecture, including peacock-shaped roofs and twin elephant carvings.
Kuldhara Village: 13th-century abandoned village; linked with legends of mystery and mass exodus.

Sam Sand Dunes: Camel ride/jeep safari, sunset views

Clock Tower & Sardar Market: Great for spices, handicrafts

Day 7
Mehrangarh Fort: Founded by Rao Jodha in 1459; massive structure with palaces like Moti Mahal, Phool Mahal, and museum displaying weapons, costumes, paintings.
Jaswant Thada: White marble cenotaph of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II, serene and beautifully carved.
Umaid Bhawan Palace: Built in 1929–1943; one of the world’s largest private residences; part hotel, part museum.
Mandore Gardens: Cenotaphs of Jodhpur’s rulers, temples, and lush gardens.

Drive to Mount Abu – Rajasthan’s only hill station
Nakki Lake: Scenic lake with boating options, surrounded by hills; legend says it was dug by gods using nails.
Toad Rock & Sunset Point: Famous natural viewpoint shaped like a toad.
Overnight: Mount Abu
Day 9
Dilwara Jain Temples: Built between 11th–13th centuries; known for marble architecture and intricate carvings—especially ceilings and pillars.
Guru Shikhar: Highest point in the Aravalli Range (1,722 m).
Achalgarh Fort: Built by Rana Kumbha; includes Achaleshwar Mahadev Temple and scenic views.

Day 10
Drive to Udaipur
Evening Activities:
Boat ride on Lake Pichola: Visit Jag Mandir Island; great sunset views

Kirti Stambh (Tower of Fame): Dedicated to Adinath, the first Jain Tirthankara.
Rani Padmini’s Palace: Associated with the tale of her jauhar (self-immolation) to avoid capture by Alauddin Khilji.
Rana Kumbha Palace: Birthplace of Maharana Udai Singh, rumored to be haunted.
